Seattle Date Ideas
The rainy city - at first glance, Seattle date
ideas would be filled with jumping in big puddles with comically-colored
galoshes, and listening to the song Singing in the Rain, along with
watching the accompanied musical enough times to make your brain
melt.
However, there's a lot of different things
you can do in Seattle that are not only enjoyable, but have nothing
to do with the rain (Or comically-colored galoshes!). You and your
date can actually have a great time in Seattle, no matter if you
live in the area, or if you're just visiting.
Matt's and Shea's
Shockingly good food? Yep. Romantic atmosphere
with great views? Uh-huh. Personable service (Though it can be slow
- best to have plenty of time to eat and enjoy the atmosphere)?
Of course. Loved both by locals, and visitors? Without a doubt.
Matt's in the Market is the place! This is
legendary, both by visitors who stop by, and locals who came for
a change and instantly became regulars. While it's not the cheapest
spot on the block, the brand new renovations make this the best
place in town.
Head there for dinner, then afterwards, try
Chez Shea for drinks with a delicious dessert. Shea's is right around
the corner (Literally within walking distance!), and has great views,
too.
You can't go wrong!
Salish Me, Bah-be!
Want something relaxing, especially if you're
running to Seattle to get away from the big city life? There's nothing
wrong with that - and boy, does Seattle have a great treat for you!
For date ideas in Seattle, or anywhere else for that matter... well,
this is one of the best we have.
Head to Salish Lodge and Spa, where you'll
be greeted with a smile and offered some incredible, breath taking
views (It's situated at the foothills). Indulge yourself with a
couples spa treatment, and afterwards, get a room and relax by the
fire - yes, your room has its very own, very real fireplace. Cool,
huh?
It's an amazing night away, and even if you
live in Seattle, it can be a fun time that you won't forget.
Take a Walk!
Kick off your fancy shoes and talk a walk on
Alki, a beach that's easy to find and wonderful to visit. Go during
sunset, and be treated with a breath taking sight that you certainly
don't get the chance to see everyday.
Bring a blanket, and after you're done walking,
lay it out and watch the stars appear while you talk about what's
on your mind - from the future to the past.
After your delightful time together, put those
shoes back on and head to Salty's - it's right off the beach, and
a great place to visit for drinks, or even food. Make sure to sit
at the bar, though, as you will, without a doubt, enjoy the romantic
mood it sets. The tables are nice, but not nearly as intimate.
Overall...
When it comes to date ideas Seattle ranks as
some of the best. Avoid the rain, and you'll come out a winner in
their eyes.
